The DocuMentors Principals
Ann
L. Kelsey, a founding partner in DocuMentors, was Associate Director of
the Learning Resource Center, County College
of Morris, from 1983 until her retirement in 2009. Ms. Kelsey has held staff
and management positions at public libraries in New York and New Jersey, and
has consulted for special libraries in pharmaceutical and chemical companies
in New Jersey since 1978. She served as an administrative librarian with Army
Special Services in Viet Nam in 1969-1970, and is the on-line reference and
resource librarian for the Vietnam Veterans
Home Page.
Ms. Kelsey has presented papers and delivered speeches
on all aspects of library automation, including planning and implementation
of systems and resources and document delivery, to audiences in the United States,
the Peoples Republic of China, and South
Africa, and has participated international conferences and seminars in Cuba,
Scandinavia, and Viet Nam. In addition to being
a co-author of Planning
for Integrated Systems and Technologies, Writing
and Updating Technology Plans: A Guidebook with Sample Policies on CD-ROM,
Staffing
the Modern Library, and The
Complete Library Technology Planner. she has contributed to the Insiders
Guide to Library Automation and the Journal of Academic Librarianship.
She also edited Resources for Teaching the
Vietnam War: An Annotated Guide.
Ms. Kelsey received a B.A. in Anthropology and English
from the University of California, Riverside, and an M.L.S. from U.C.L.A. She
is a member of the American Library Association, the Special Libraries Association,
the American Society for Information Science, and the New Jersey Library Association.
