Bibliographic Database Creation and Development

DocuMentors advises libraries on preparing collections for conversion by developing options for both the retrospective conversion and ongoing maintenance of collections. We identify the issues involved in maintaining bibliographic and item-record standards and in bar coding collections of all types. Recognizing the impact of digitization on library collections and services, DocuMentors advises on developing digital collections and on integrating and converting records in USMARC format into XML (Extensible Markup Language) formats.
